Email Design and Development at Indagare

At Indagare, a travel agency and online magazine, I spearheaded a revamp of the email marketing efforts with the Senior Director of Marketing. While our newsletter performed well, we wanted to make our email efforts more robust with a more personalized experience, so we crafted multiple email campaigns using the HubSpot CRM. In one notable project, we captured our contacts in the dream phase by offering sample itineraries for 10 different destinations. We were aiming to answer the question of “where do I want to travel?” by limiting the options to 10 destinations. We helped move people from the dreaming phase to the planning phase.

I designed and developed emails that had one or two calls to action, wether it was to book a trip, attend an event, or read a helpful article. Inbound principles focus on attracting customers by creating tailored content for individuals, rather than attempting to cast a wide net and sell to everyone. At Indagare, we wanted to segment or target audiences.
